Day 9 - Day at Sea

Today we have no exciting or breathtaking pictures. It was the first relaxing Deb-kind-of-day which we greatly needed and enjoyed. We began by ordering room service for breakfast, ate on our patio, and then went to our own alcove on the 15th deck where we relaxed, read, and worked on the blog for the entire day (until 4:30 PM).  Our only interruption was a bocce ball competition with the ship’s officers in which I lost for us in the first round. (Jeff was not happy to be eliminated in the first round).  We enjoyed fruit and cheese and skipped lunch. Yes, I know we are blessed and indeed very thankful!

We ate dinner with our new Aussie friends, two couples from Australia who have been our tablemates since the first night of the cruise.  We are learning new phrases and vocabulary by eating with them each night, so if we come home and “ring you on the tele” you’ll know why.  We have met several Aussies on the trip – all have been most friendly, happy

people who are fun to be around.

Good night (speaking English while at sea).
